I’m curious about it, but every time I eat a lot of animal products I find myself feeling terrible. The Keystone Approach said that meats were okay if getting enough olive oil and fish oil, but I think that the meat was part of the cause of this latest PsA attack, so I’m cutting out all animal products except for fish again. It might just be me, because I was a vegetarian until I was a teenager and might not be able to handle meat.
I’m pretty sure that I need to reduce or eliminate grains. The Keystone Approach book has some information on starches and fiber sources. I just bought a lot of vegetables like cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, chard, spinach, string beans, Brussels sprouts, and similar vegetables to replace most of my grain intake.
I go into ketosis within 24 hours when fasting, but I’m not sure if it’s similar to the effects of a ketogenic diet.
